THE HARRY & CATHERINE HOPKINS RECEIPT COLLECTION
INTRODUCTION
The Harry and Catherine Hopkins Receipt Collection was accessioned into the Piqua Public Library Archives and Special Collections on 13 June 2014 as a donation by Mr. Roger Hopkins, son of Harry and Catherine Hopkins. The collection consists of receipts from local and regional businesses with which the Hopkins had dealings. The receipts are from the years 1952 to 1998 and were saved by Mrs. Catherine Hopkins. The receipts provide a source of business names and addresses during the time period mentioned.
The collection is housed in a single Hollinger box containing 74 files. There are no known restrictions on the use of the materials by researchers and the rights to the materials now reside with the Piqua Public Library.
SCOPE AND CONTENT
The Harry and Catherine Hopkins Receipt Collection is divided into the following twelve series:
