PIQUA FIRE DEPARTMENT TRAINING MANUALS COLLECTION
INTRODUCTION
The Piqua Fire Department Training Manuals Collection was accessioned into the Piqua Public Library Archives and Special Collection on February 25, 2016 as a result of a donation by the Piqua Fire Department under Fire Chief Brent Pohlschneider. The collection consists of forty-five books on various aspects of fire fighting, fire equipment, department organization and emergency medical technician training. This collection is available and open to the public for its use, however, since most of the books in this collection are less than fifty years old at the time of this accession, the Piqua Public Library does not own the copyright to these books. Permission to use extended quotations, pictures or drawings from these books must be obtained from the publisher of each individual book used.
