FORTNIGHTLY CLUB COLLECTION ADDITIONAL
INTRODUCTION
MS-17C, the Fortnightly Club Collection Additional was accessioned into the Piqua Public Library Archives and Special Collections on November 15, 2017 by Mrs. Adele Penrod, the president of the Piqua Fortnightly Club. The collection contains club minutes and other records from the years c. 1998 to 2016. The ownership of these records has been transferred to the Piqua Public Library and the records are available for research by club members and other patrons interested in the history of the Fortnightly Club. The records are housed in a single Hollinger box containing 31 files. There are no known restrictions on the use of these records.
SCOPE AND CONTENT
The Fortnightly Club Collection Additional is divided into the following three series:
SERIES I: MINUTES 2008-2016 – Box 1, Files 1-8
SERIES II: THANK YOU NOTES SENT TO THE CLUB – Box 1, Files 9-11
SERIES III: PROSPECTIVE MEMBER FILES – each file contains a Prospective Member form and the documentation to go with the form. The files are listed by the name of the prospective member. Box 1, Files 12-31
