FILM COLLECTION

INTRODUCTION

MS-173  is a collection of 120 16-millimeter and 8-millimeter films.  They include both sound and silent films on such subjects as World War II, Red Cross safety tips, American Legion conventions and parades, Piqua landmarks, Piqua High School All Night Party films, Class of 1963-1978, and various home movies.  They mostly cover the time period from the 1930’s to the 1970’s.  Every attempt has been made to describe in detail, as much as is possible, what each film is about.  An effort was made to arrange films together about certain subjects, World War II for example.  In the case of films with multiple copies, a notation is made.
