HISTORY

The Piqua Cotillion Club was started by Dorothy Goater (Mrs. Richard) and was modeled after the Troy Cotillion Club.  It was a private membership-by-invitation social organization for couples who enjoyed ballroom dancing.

The club was active from 1952 until its final dance on December 6, 2003 when it disbanded due to low numbers of members.
