National Poetry Month

National Poetry Month

April is National Poetry Month. The Piqua Public Library has several fun ways for you to celebrate with us! Check out our display of well-known and lesser-known poets in the lobby.

John and Donna are sharing classic poems along with a bit of history about each poet. Angie is sharing poems on a theme, also on the library’s Facebook page. You can find all of these videos on our Facebook page or click on the link below to visit our Poetry Corner playlist on the library’s Facebook page.

We’re inviting our patrons to participate in our third Community Poem. A community, or crowd-sourced poem, is one poem written from words submitted by many people on a theme. Our current theme is “Where I’m From.”
