The Sleuth’s Society Book Club

Join us at the Piqua Public Library for a night to discuss detectives, crimes, gruesome death... and other cozy things! This new book club meets every fourth Monday of the month from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Founder's Room. Books are available near the first-floor Circulation Desk the month before the group meets. This book discussion group does not meet in December.

“Come at once if convenient. If inconvenient… come all the same.” - Sherlock Holmes

Planned books for 2022 are:

May - "Murder on the Orient Express" by Agatha Christie - meet in the Louis Room

As this is our very first discussion, we will have a special opening night treat by watching the movie adaptation before the said discussion. Hope to see you there! (Need not come to both the movie and talk to enjoy the mayhem)

June - "True Story: Murder, Memoir, Mea Culpa" by Michael Finkel

July - "My Cousin Daphne" by Daphne du Maurier

August - "The Widows" by Jess Montgomery

September - "Moonlight Becomes Her" by Mary Higgins Clark

October - "Rebecca" by Daphne du Maurier

November - "A Study in Scarlet" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
