Travel Talk: Thailand

Join travel enthusiast, Rebecca Baker, for a discussion on her 2019 trip to Thailand in our next installment of Travel Talk at the Piqua Public Library. This free program will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 6:30-8 pm in the Louis Room. Register by calling the Library at 937-773-6753.

Writer’s Club

Do you like creative writing? Would you like to meet others who also like to write (or are interested in starting to write)? The Piqua Writers Club meets at the Piqua Public Library weekly on Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8 pm in the second-floor Founder's Room. It's a supportive, collaborative and free community group! No need to sign up in advance.

Focusing on historical events right here in Piqua. Join Library Director, Jim Oda for another year of fascinating tales of our town. Meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm in the first floor Louis Room.

Game Night

Let the games begin! Join us for an evening of board games, card games and more every last Monday of the month from 6 - 8 pm in the Piqua Public Library in the Louis Room. The Library will provide games and water, bring along a friend or two! 

Internet 101: The Basics

Are you wanting to be more comfortable on the internet? Or do you know someone who does?  Employment Service Professional, Barbara Nicodemus, of the OhioMeansJobs Center for Miami County, will teach computer basics in two class sessions.  Topics will include powering up, creating and navigating email, job searching and applications, as well as social networking.
